The final addition of Hunter's Christmas.....

Hunter enjoyed Christmas day, we spaced out all of his gifts so he could play with them and learn to be more appreciative. It was fun....he had gifts, his stocking and even a treasure hunt :0) Perfect for a Santa Pirate!

This is Hunter's "sad" face :0(

Our first Gingerbread house, I think Hunter ate more candy then he actually put on! This was New Year's Eve, this year I learned a lesson and put Hunter to bed on time, last year you may remember that I kept him up and at 11:59 he had to go to the bathroom, I wish I realized spending the New Year 2008 in the bathroom was a sign that the year would be C~!@#$.....lessons learned!

Here is Hunter playing my Christmas present (Nintendo DS, so fun!!!) I didn't think he would actually be able to play any games, so I showed him by really just playing around well the joke was on me, he loves two of the games and is almost as good as I am, I'm not sure what that says about either one of us :0)

This is Hunter losing, which I did not teach him....but apparently I have the same response when I lose....maybe with some added verbalizations.....oh well.....like Mother like Son! Poor guy he doesn't stand a chance :0)

Christmas Eve.....

It has become a tradition that every Christmas Hunter gets a movie, book and ornament all of the same theme. This year he received Charlie Brown, he was excited as you can see.....he also got a stuffed skating snoopy, his ornament was so cute it was the characters with their hockey sticks and woodstock on the zamboni :0)

I couldn't resist this hot cocoa cannister with Charlie Brown on it, it was so cute!

Getting silly for chocolate!

The time we've all been waiting for......the opening of the annual matching pajama's!!!!!

This year we had Christmas Trees, Grandma made Hunter's specially hand cutting and stamping them! He was so cute playing with his stocking pretending he was Santa Claus, he would deliver pretend gifts to each of us from his "bag".

A quick picture before we went to leave carrots for the Reindeer.....

turned into.....contemplation......about.....eating the cookies!!!

Caught powder sugar handed :0)

Poor Santa, he was barely left with any goodies by the time Hunter had a snack and rinsed it down!

Prior to Christmas we joined my girlfriend Wendy and her family on a trip to Huckleberry Railroad.

Hunter sat with Papa and Gram to keep warm and admire the Christmas light displays.

Miss Wendy with her nieces Lauren and Kendall (Hunter just loves the girls, asking me periodically can we go play with them, do you remember when we did this with them, etc. They have shared many fun times...swimming, smores and now shivering!)

A train ride wouldn't be complete without the Conductor...hands down Hunter's favorite part especially the fact the conductor sat right in front of him!

My favorite part of the trip was the Reindeer! This is Prancer, but Hunter was sure it was "Vixen"! Right after this picture was taken, the railroad took one just as Hunter grabbed on to the antlers too, but the file is encrypted so I can't get it off my email :0( It was so cute!

Walking in a winter wonderland!

Another ride, this time on the carousel....

Let's just say Hunter was not too fond of it......he hung on for dear life!

Smiling now because we are out of the cold! Here we were waiting for the magic show, the most embarrassing thing happened during the show...the magician was eating a snowman nose, it would disappear then reappear in many different places, one of the times the magician pulled the nose out from his "bottom", I was a little worried about this but Hunter didn't appear to be paying attention, however, he was paying attention because somewhere into the next act Hunter blurted out "is that thing going to come out of the guys butt again".....let's just say it wasn't the proudest parenting moment I've had.....it did make for quite a laugh though :0)

The End!

A fun year it was for Christmas with a 3 year old! Hunter got so excited about everything this year, and really enjoyed helping out! It was the best Christmas so far!

You know a Holiday wouldn't be complete without a photo shoot....

Christmas wouldn't be complete.......without.....a little.....

Oh boy, What a Party!!!!

The posts of Hunter's Birthday Bash wouldn't be complete if I didn't show you my Barn Cake! It was five layers of sugary wonder! Hunter was so excited when he saw it for the first time, he woke up from his nap and said "Oh, Thank You Mom, it's Beautiful!"

Ahhhh....that was good cake!!!

After some of our party guests left we headed inside for a break from mosquitos and a quick story from Aunt Mimi......Last Christmas Aunt Mimi bought Hunter "Dorothy" the fish, well Dorothy had quite an abundant life she lived a little over six months before she went on "vacation". Aunt Mimi told Hunter a special story about Dorothy's vacation and the three friends she brought back with her! Hunter was so excited!

Papa, Gram, Gigi and Aunt Mimi took Hunter outside for one last special surprise.....

What would a farmer do without his own.....John Deere Tractor?

Hitching on his trailor to haul some cargo....

Precious Cargo!!! Too small to be scared :)

Thanks for coming to my party Lucas!

Whooo, that was some party!!! I just need a minute to sit back, relax and let it all sink in :0) That's a wrap! Pictures from Christmas coming soon....
