Hunter had a fun evening with his Cousins!!!!

They were all suppose to go to their cousin's Birthday party but he was sick. I told Hunter he had the flu, and he said "he flew the coop", I couldn't stop laughing, thinking where the heck did he pick that up from, sometimes he comes up with the funniest things! They had fun running around, playing and watching "Jack the Monkey"! He kept calling his Aunt Lori and Uncle Scott, "Miss Lori and Mr. Scott"....well at least he has manners, he will eventually get it right. Thanks for the playdate!!!

Hunter got a very special Valentine tonight!!! From Miss Wendy & Mr. James, he almost didn't get it though.....it was sent to the wrong address and the kind gentlemen who received it tracked her phone number down, called, obtained the right address and delivered it to us today! How cool is that, there are good people in the world!

My little Monkey!!! It was the best present ever! My favorite... Small Paul, made in the USA and totally adorable! Hunter said "this is cute" so he got a bath right away and PJ's on, complete with matching slippers and undies!!! Too cute to go to bed :o)
Thank You!

A few weeks ago Hunter and I had fun and pizza with our friends Miss Marianne and Miss Michele!!! It doesn't get better than that! They had tons of presents for Hunter for Christmas, he was so excited! This is ELEFUN, Hunter's first game!!! It is the cutest thing, it has a fan in it and butterflies shoot up his trunk and the kids (or adults :o) have to catch them in the nets, adorable!!!

I'm not catching any......

Hunter gave up and thought it was just as fun to pick them up off of the floor

After Christmas, Hunter is an expert un-wrapper!

Hunter's favorite gift of all.....a Thomas singing toothbrush!!! I am not kidding that Hunter loves toothbrushes! This one he especially loves as it plays the Thomas the Train theme song!!! He seriously goes through a new one every few weeks! Thank goodness the Easter Bunny is coming soon, we put in Hunter's order! Thanks ladies for the fun evening!!!!! Can't wait to get together again soon!

My Sunshine!!!

Well, Hunter did great for his first night in his new bed! However, his ears didn't do so well :( he was up with his ears hurting, but he is now protesting taking medication so giving him something for his ears was quite a challenge, well I guess everything with a 2 1/2 year old is a challenge :o) So, I'm sure tonight will be better as the antibiotic has had some time to work. We hope you are all doing well! We send special thoughts and prayers to Mr. Sean (Paige and Molly's Dad) as he has been under the weather, and we know that soon he will be in tip top shape! Best Wishes to everyone!

First, I want to give you an update on Hunter. He has been sick, today was his third trip back to the Dr. where we finally got an antibiotic because now both of his ears are infected too, poor guy! The Dr. likes to hold off as long as he can without giving Hunter antibiotics because of his history, resistance and allergies. It is unfortunate because there is no good answer, he has been miserable this time, but now with the new medicine hopefully he will feel better soon!

Second, I am double blogging today because I can't sleep.....today marks the end of the baby stage for me! The previous things that depict baby that we have broken Hunter of haven't really affected me, 12 months the bottle; 22 months diapers (this affected me in a good way!) and now 29 months the crib!!! Hunter wasn't climbing out, but he sleeps in a big bed at daycare and we thought it was time here too, plus he has asked for one :( so, tonight was his first time in his toddler bed that my crib converted into. Obviously, there won't be any more babies for me so it is just hitting me really hard that Hunter is really growing up. In every way for him I am so happy for his growth, but in my own selfishness I will miss the wonderful baby stage! Here he is below embracing his new bed and bedding!

Checking out all of the textures...

and all of the different modes of transportation!

Hunter was so excited the first time he saw his quilt he clapped and said "I so excited", this time he was so mesmerized he wouldn't look at me to smile for the camera.

Good Night!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT MIMI!!!

We were barely in the door to my sister's birthday party when Hunter began opening her gift!! All day he begged to open the present (from Santa he insisted) I kept telling him he had to wait to give it to Aunt Mimi, well he gave it to her....

after he opened it!!!! Here Aunt Mimi....you got pillows! *Miss Wendy do you recognize the wrapping paper??? Recycled from a present you gave me....years and years ago....Amy loved it!!! Saving the Earth one present at a time :o)!!!*

You would think it was Hunter's birthday....he got so many Valentine's!!!

Hunter and Shrek sharing hugs with the Birthday Girl

Only an Aunt would let her nephew play Play-doh on her new leather couch!!!

The best present I've ever received!

All good things must come to an end.....all sugar highs must come crashing down!

Here's my Sweetheart!!! A blink of those blue eyes makes the tantrums easier to manage :o)

Well, Hunter is sick again, but really I have to express my thankfulness that this is nothing compared to past years!!! He was sad to miss church this week, a play date at Chuck E. Cheese yesterday with his cousins, and daycare today, but hopefully tomorrow he will be feeling much better and back to having fun! Although between the coughing and sneezing and other yuck, he did get some songs and "hockey bopper" in today. He is obsessed with movies lately, especially MVP and old Disney movie about a signing Chimpanzee named Jack, and Shrek. In MVP the Chimpanzee plays hockey, Hunter was using my kitchen utensils to play "hockey bopper" with his blocks. Today Dave bought him his own sticks and puck so he is in Hockey Bopper Heaven!!! We hope that you are all well!

A few weeks ago......

Noah and Emma, Hunter's friends from DayCare embark on their fun trip to "Pump It Up" (Giant blow up bouncy things) for NOAH'S 3RD BIRTHDAY PARTY! The kids loved it.... we loved it....it was so much fun!!!

Miss Karen is Noah's Grandma, and takes care of Hunter for us during the week, she had fun too!

Hunter went down the big slide by himself, he didn't hate it but he didn't love it either....so from then on he had company!

Dad joined us for this party, he had fun going down the slide and it helped Hunter be more adventurous to go down with someone.

Ok, so it's pretty bad when the adults have just as much fun as the kids!!!

Look at me....I'm getting brave!!!

Getting some air!!!

"I love this place, it's cool!"

Hunter sure is getting into the Birthday parties...especially the part with the cake!!!

Noah received an exciting gift, that as you can see Hunter was anxiously waiting to give it a try!

Hunter was so excited!!! He can't reach the pedals on his tri-cycle but he sure could ride this two-wheeler, so strange! So, as you can see it was a fun day!

A few weeks ago, Hunter went on a play date with his friend Ethan. Ethan is the son of one of my friends from high school, and they were here from out of state for a little while. We went to McDonald's thinking it would be a surprise and a big treat for the boys to eat and then play in the maze and ball pit, boy we were the ones who got the surprise when they didn't have that attraction, they had this new high tech computer game play land, it was a little too old for the boys but they enjoyed themselves nevertheless! Here they are starting out nice and quiet.....

then began the dancing!!!

Feeling the music!!

Really getting into it......learning to shoot hoops!

When it was time to say good-bye, after 2 hours in the play area, the boys were all riled up!!! It wasn't 5 minutes into our trip home and Hunter was sleeping!

It's Friday.....let's celebrate! The boys LOVE to dance!

The boys were so excited to Dance and see their shadows in so many different colors!

What's Cooking???? Well, it is the last day of pictures from the Science Center Outing!

An interesting Turtle photo, you can see Andrew's face in the tank, I couldn't have done that if I wanted to!

"Hi Mr. Turtle"

Obviously that was a fun action packed day at the Science Center, Hunter was exhausted! Here he sleeps with a ball in his hand from the restaurant, it is actually a Gum Ball, but he doesn't realize it is candy! This is part of Hunter's Reward system, we practice Positive Reinforcement and he gets balls, that when the machine is empty he can turn in for a prize, oh boy, what a life savor this has been in the world of the Terrific Two's!!!
