I love Play-doh!!!!

Pretty bad when the only snowmen that are getting made are from Play-doh and not Snow!

Playing Play-doh not only brings out the creativity but also the Singer in him!

He will play a fork, a fly swatter, a pan, a frog bath gripper, and the list continues! His new favorite is this artsy recycled instrument!!!! His musical talent is a treat for your ears :)

Cool! My own "pet"! When we told Hunter that his new fish Dorothy (also Elmo's fish's name) was his pet, he thought we meant to "pet" her, so he tried to pet the bowl, he also wanted to hold her!!! It's so cute seeing him admire her!

On the Eleventh Day of Christmas, Andrea brought to you.....
Merry Christmas Eve!!!! Hunter and I celebrated Christmas early with my family last night, waiting for Santa to make a special trip for Hunter and having a ton of fun!!! It is a difficult Christmas for us this year for many obvious reasons, and it just isn't the same without Grandpa. We are honoring him by continuing to enjoy each other, wearing our matching Christmas pj's and eating veggies :) with our hors deurves!!! We also started a new tradition this year.....a White Elephant Exhange. We hope you have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy the fun pictures I will be posting over the next few days!!!! Hunter got an extra special gift that I know you will enjoy!

Hunter really loved his "White Elephant" gift, he got Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and watched it before he went to sleep, he tried to stay up as late as he could to try to see Santa, but finally it was time to....

On the Tenth Day of Christmas, Andrea brought to you....

more of Hunter trimming trees! This is Grandma's tree, this year it is really festive! The top portion consists of ornaments Hunter shouldn't be able to reach (unless he gets his stool) the bottom portion is pretty plain with John Deere Christmas lights, Grandpa is pretty excited that Hunter is around because I think this may be the first year these special tractor lights saw the light of day :) In the process of decorating the tree Hunter broke two of Grandma's ornaments, thankfully Grandma still loves Hunter and I anyway even though over the summer he ruined her carpet with nail polish. Their love for their grandson must be unconditional!!!

Then admiring his work!!! Today was a rough day for our family as it would have been my Grandpa's 80th Birthday, we went to dinner to honor him and be together. a surprising trip to see Santa! I thought Hunter would cry or shy away, but he ran right up to Santa!

Hunter kept asking Santa where his Reindeer were, Santa would tell him how they were still at the North Pole, and Hunter would ask "Why" poor Santa, I think he didn't think Hunter's curiosity was nearly as adorable as we think it is :)

After the painting was done, it was time to Jump for Joy!

The boys get together and they let loose!!! This year Thanksgiving was very hard as it was the first Holiday without Grandpa. I have learned in the last few weeks that I have a lot to be grateful for!!! A beautiful healthy son, a wonderful loving functional family, caring and compassionate friends, a good job with a great support system and there just isn't anything else to ask for than that! Thank you to all of you who make that possible!

Once there was a boy who didn't own a guitar.....so he played fly swatters, spatulas, boxes, etc. in hopes one day his mom would feel sorry for him and get him a guitar. Well, that day came when Grandma, Gigi and Mom got Hunter a real Guitar!!!

Hello everyone, I certainly hope this finds everyone well. Things are fine here just busy and trying to keep things as normal as possible for Hunter's sake. He really is doing well, he has passed the stage of hitting, yelling and kicking. Now, he is on to the rambunctious stage! He loves to sing, dance and play instruments as loud as he possibly can! He also has really taken to the art supplies lately, which is very exciting to see him being so creative, and fun for me too! I love any kind of art, Playdoh is his favorite followed by painting! He is very excited for Christmas to come although he doesn't quite know what to expect. He can't wait to go give Santa a hug, but I am thinking when the time comes he may do more crying than jumping for joy, but we'll see. One last thing Hunter loves is Christmas music, he has "Jingle Bells" memorized along with several parts to other songs like Frosty the Snowman, the Little Drummer Boy, and as scary as this may be he now says "precipitation" as a result of too many "why's" for me! He really has quite a vocabulary, it is always good for a laugh! Have a great Holiday season and I will talk to you soon!
