This blog comes with a lot of thought and hesitancy. As you know my Grandpa Daugherty died a week ago today, the past few weeks have been very difficult for our family and losing Grandpa is a loss that cannot be expressed in words. I have decided to continue blogging as a tribute to Grandpa as he loved the blog, it was only the past few months he was unable to view it as he was too sick. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but losing my Grandpa is more than losing a loved one, losing him is losing part of myself and part of our future. We will forever miss him, and grieve for every holiday or event from now on that we are without him. With that I can only express how grateful I am to have had him for as long as I did, for Hunter to have not only met him but to have tons of pictures to look back and know how much his "Pampa" loved him! I am so thankful to have my family, I love you more than you'll ever know, my Grandma who is such a strong woman and had 58 wonderful years married to Grandpa, with that they started their family my Mom who married my Dad and just Friday celebrated 33 years together! They had Amy and I, and raised us to value the importance of family and love, for that I am forever grateful! I have learned in the past few weeks the value of love, family and friendship. Thank you to all of you who have shown your support! I am so thankful and blessed! Now our family has one more angel watching out for us! This blog is dedicated to my Grandpa who knew how much we loved him!!! and we knew how much he loved us!!!!

My birthday, at almost 80 Grandpa was still a Party Animal at heart!

Getting some rest....

Hunter mimicking Pampa, who got a big laugh out of it! At times his little shadow!

This was Halloween, Grandpa felt horrible but he came to see Hunter anyway and this is the last picture we have, symbolic in retrospect as Hunter is kissing him goodnight. Good Night!
