Last Friday was a beautiful day to begin our ladies vacation....

....to the Mile High City! Denver, Colorado for my girlfriend from college, Erin's wedding!

The Curtis Hotel was our resting place, it was fun modern and funky!

The ladies took a trip down to the Corner Office after a hard days work.....

"It's five o'clock somewhere!"

Sunday was our action packed day! It appears our drinking began before the Brewery tour by the looks of this picture :0)

A tour of the Coors Brewery....

I knew I liked copper :0)

Grandma got excited when she knew the free samples were the next stop on the tour!

Is it too late to go back to school to be a Chemical Engineer? I don't remember Brewery on the Career Path List.

Seeing the Beer made, makes you really appreciate its beauty :0) I just realized that my comments sound like I've been drinking ;0)

Cheers Ladies!!!! Then off to our next desination.....

Take a ride with us on Banjo Billy's Bus Tour.....a tour of Denver full of history, ghost and crime stories that was full of fun and surprises and.....you guessed it.....more beverages :0)

What trip would be complete without Mom, Beer and a Saddle????

Yes...those are bicycle riders in their unders!!! and yes....of course I got a picture of it :0)

This is John, the creator of Banjo Billy's Bus Tours, we got lucky and had him as our driver, only his third time doing the Denver tour in a year. He was hilarious!

Easily my favorite photograph ever!!!! I thought at first the alcohol may have been impairing my ability to read....but no....he was indeed homeless and "Savin up for A Hooker" it just doesn't get better than that. I am all for honesty!!!

Amy and I got so excited when we found out there was a Beauty Bar in Colorado!!! I've been to New York and Vegas with Wendy and Amy had been to LA, so we were getting pumped to venture to our favorite hotspot and take Mom and Grandma.....

Well, this wasn't exactly what we had in mind, and realized apparently the fact no one in Colorado had heard of the Beauty Bar should have been our first clue....there wasn't one! So after a half hour drive we had to get a picture anyway :0)

A beautiful trip packed with tons of fun new memories!!!!

A happy Hunter to have his mom back....oh wait....he was really happy because of all the Souvenirs!!! He now likes to pretend he is a Cowboy Sheriff Pilot!

Arts & Scraps
www.ARTSandSCRAPS.org

We checked out a Museum Pass from the Library and Hunter got to pick out a free art kit. The entire store is salvaged material that people/businesses have donated and they encourage creativity through recycling! We loved it! Hunter had a great time stuffing his bag, for $7 we got a ton of cool stuff!!!!

I must have been feeling artsy....being I cut myself out of the photo. Out of practice I guess :0)

Hunter's bag full of goodies, sponges, craft odds & ends, tickets, and special items for a race track project!

Hunter sleeping with his new blanket the night before he began "big boy school". Hunter and I went to the fabric store this weekend to pick out the material for his new blanket and pillow, he got really excited. He was sad when he went to bed because I was still working on it. I brought it in when I finished during the night, he likes it so much he begs to bring it home with him at night. Thankfully he is 3 and doesn't realize what quilting is suppose to look like :0)

Hunter's first day!!! We are so proud that Hunter is adjusting very well to his new routine, and he has already learned new things!

Check out my new dresser....

Hunter is excited about his new toolbox...but not as excited as I am, because it actually is his new dresser....that locks!!!! Recently, Hunter began changing his clothes several times an hour, he becomes different super heros, sports guys, train conductors, pirates, you name it he creates it....I love that he is being creative! I do not love that he is throwing his clean clothes on the floor, I can't keep up with things as it is....let alone redo several loads of laundry. So, Hunter got the toolbox I've wanted him to have for a long time, it looks great in his Truck room and it makes me very excited!!! Oh yeah....and the most important part....he loves it too!!!

April showers bring May flowers!!!

Hunter loves his new FireMan rain suit! We have been having some discipline problems so Hunter actually had to earn the boots, coat and hat separately. A little incentive goes a long way!!!! Now he wears them around the house, wanted to wear them to bed and didn't take them off for almost the entire day of daycare! We have thankfully moved away from Pirates slightly to Fire Fighters! I am really glad for that....it won't be as embarrassing if he yells out "look a fire man" when we are out in public compared to "look at the Pirate mom" when we see any man with either a doo rag, pony tail or earring!!!

Where are the rest of the Easter pictures.......here they are.....

Where is Hunter's Easter basket????

There it is!!!! He was excited that the Easter Bunny was in his room to hide his basket, pretty sly bunny!!!

Wow! How did the Easter Bunny know that I love Spider Man???

My new favorite!

The annual bunny bread, my Grandpa always liked that I made this, this year if he was here he would have liked it even more, the bunny was slimmer this year!!!

OOOOHHHHH.....

A Pirate outfit!!! Thanks Gigi....I love it!!!

A basket packed with goodies from Papa and Grandma!!! Hunter being a silly Muscle Man :0)

Nice weather for an Easter Egg Hunt!!! Complete with SpiderMan Underoos that came in Grandma's basket!!!!

It was so cute this year to see Hunter with all of the Easter festivities, but we made sure to teach him that Easter isn't just about the eggs, bunny, gifts and candy, but about Jesus of course!!!

Smiling from ear to ear at all of his goodies that were inside of the eggs, no candy just lots of TREASURE!!!

Thrilled with coloring eggs!!! Pretty sad that I was that behind this year that we actually colored eggs on Easter, yikes! Better luck next year!!! I wish I had one of all of us, we got dressed up to go to church, Hunter looked so cute!

The day actually ended poorly. Hunter got one of his cool new Spider Man tattoos on and instantly began to cry, say I needed to take him to the doctor, and within minutes get sick. We thought at first maybe it was a reaction to the tattoo but as you can see in the other pictures he was covered in them from daycare. So, I think it was a combination of the excitement and the rich food, lemon pie followed by carrot cake!!!!
